Gifts and colour!

Hello fellas!

Καλό μήνα εύχομαι!Πως περνάτε? Τις προάλλες ήρθε η μητέρα από Αθήνα και μαζί της έφερε κάποια δωράκια και μέσα σε αυτά είχε κάποια καλλυντικά που μου πήρε, και κάποια προϊόντα Essence δώρο από την κολλητή.  Στις σκιές περίμενα να μου πάρει πιο γήινα η μητέρα, αλλά και πάλι ήταν φανταστικά χρώματα!



I wish you all a lovely month! How's your summer? My mother came back from a trip to Athens and she brought  some gifts. Some of them were cosmetics, and my best friend bought some Essence products since she knew I was dying to try them! I expected more natural eyeshadow colours from my mum, cause I tend to use these more often, but the palette had amazing colours as well!

Τα δωράκια  από Essence ήταν η σκιά Ιn the clouds η οποία είναι μια μοβ-μπλε σκιά που λαμπυρίζει. Η άλλη είναι η Happy hour η οποία έχει σκούρο τιρκουάζ χρώμα και έχει μεταλλική όψη. Επίσης πήρα  το υγρό eyeliner I love style για το οποίο άκουγα τα καλύτερα λόγια και έμεινα έκπληκτη με το αποτέλεσμα! Εκτός αυτού πήρα και το Τime for Reflection  Special effect topper το οποίο έχει ελαφριά μοβ  λάμψη και μαζί με άλλο μανό ως βάση δείχνει απίστευτα!

The presents from Essence is a shimmery mauve-blue eyeshadow called In the clouds and Happy Hour  eyeshadow which has dark turquoise colour and gives a metallic effect. I also got the liquid eyeliner I love style of which I heard and read the best reviews and I was indeed amazing by the result. Apart from that, I got Time for Reflection Special effect topper that gives a light mauve glow, and  by using another nailpolish as a base you have an  different colour that looks incredible!

Tώρα πάμε στα άλλα καλούδια..

Εκτός από τα προϊόντα της Essence μου έφεραν μια παλέτα σκιών της Vera Valenti ή οποία είναι μια ισπανική εταιρεία, και περιέχει 8 σκιές και ένα ρουζ. Επίσης πήρα ένα lip color με sun filter της Seventeen νούμερο 68.

Let's move on to the other goodies..

Apart  from the Essence goodies, I also received an eyeshadow palette from  a spanish company called Vera Valenti, which contains 8 eyeshadows and and a coral blush. Apart from that I got a lip color with sunf filter by Seventeen cosmetics, No 68.

Seventeen lip color

Ένα ροζ- σαμπανιζέ lip- gloss το οποίο λαμπυρίζει, και περιέχει μάνγκο που ενυδατώνει και περιποιείται τα χείλη. Απλώνεται ομοιόμορφα και έχει σταθερό αποτέλεσμα. Θα ήθελα πολύ να το δοκιμάσω και σε άλλα χρώματα!

A pink-champagne lip-gloss that shimmers, contains mango extracts that provides hydration and care.

It glides easily and it gives you a longlasting result. I would really like to try this lip- gloss in other colours.

Vera Valenti eyeshadow palette

H φωτογραφία αδικεί τις σκιές μιας και είναι πιο shimmer και έχουν πιο ζωντανό χρώμα. Είναι αρκετά pigmented όλα εκτός από την καφέ- μπορντό σκιά η οποία χρειάζεται primer για σωστή απόδοση. Το ίδιο και το κοραλοπορτοκαλί ρουζ, αν και δεν με ενοχλεί γιατί δίνει ένα πιο φυσικό αποτέλεσμα.

This photo doesn't do justice at the eyeshadows, because they are more shimmery and have a vibrant colour. They are all quite pigmented apart from the bordeaux- brown eyeshadow that will need a primer to look proper. The coral-orange blush isn't quite pigmented as well, but that doesn't bother me, since it gives me a more natural result.

The third eyeshadow from the left could easily be a dupe of Urban Decay's, Sin eyeshadow.

Love the last 2 eyeshadows! Will definately try a make up look with them!

 Καλή εβδομάδα εύχομαι! Ζέστη, μπανάκια και τρέξιμο εδώ. Σύντομα όμως περιμένω να λάβω κάποια καλούδια!

Have a pleasant week everyone! It's hot here, and I have to run errands almost everyday, but thank God, I always find time for swimming. I expect to receive some goodies very soon so stick around for new posts!


Τις προάλλες αγόρασα ένα περιοδικό και είχε 2 δειγματάκια. Το ένα ήταν η γνωστή σε όλους BB cream Garnier, και το άλλο ήταν το γαλάκτωμα σώματος Αναδόμησης-θρέψης της Bioten! Μιας και έχω ακούσει τα καλύτερα και δεν είχα δοκιμάσει κάτι, ενθουσιάστηκα που είχα την ευκαιρία να δοκιμάσω κάποιον προϊόν τους.

A couple of days ago, I bought a magazine that had 2 samples inside. The first one was the now-known to all BB cream by Garnier, and the other one was the repairing nourishing body lotion with cotton herbalmilk and rice proteins by Bioten. Since I've heard  the nicest things about this brand, I was very excited to try one of their product.

H  σύσταση της είναι πιο πηχτή με σχέση τις περισσότερες κρέμες αναδόμησης, κάτι το οποίο μου άρεσε, και μόλις το άπλωνες το απορροφούσε άμεσα. Λάτρεψα αμέσως το άρωμα της, γιατί ήταν ελαφρύ και μύριζε άνοιξη! Την έβαλα σε όλο το σώμα, αλλά για να την τεστάρω κατά πόσο κάνει διαφορά σε ξηρό δέρμα την τοποθέτησα στο πιο δύσκολο σημείο μου, που είναι τα πόδια μου μιας και κάποτε έπαθα έγκαυμα 2ου βαθμού και είναι πιο ξηρό από οποιοδήποτε άλλο σημείο. Και είδα ότι  αμέσως έγινε πιο απαλό και λείο! Οπότε σίγουρα θα το εντάξω στα πράγματα που θέλω να αγοράσω, και θέλω τόσο να δοκιμάσω και την υπόλοιπη σειρά της εταιρείας!

Τhe consistency of this lotion is thicker compare to other lotions, which is something I like, and once you  apply the lotion it would absorve right away. I loved the smell it had, because it had a light scent and you could smell spring! I applied it all over the body, but in order to test if it does what it say to dry skin, I applied it at my feet, since I once had a 2nd degree burn and it's more dry that any other part. Amazingly it become soft and smooth right away! So I will definately put it in my BUY list, and  would love to try everything that this company has to offer!

Μιας και μου τελείωσε το αντηλιακό είπα να πάρω από την LR μιας και είχε προσφορά για το αντηλιακό και την after sun gel cream και περιέχει στα συστατικά κάτι που αγαπώ. Την αλόη βέρα.

Since I've run out of sunscreen lotion I thought I would buy from LR since they had an offer for the sun lotion and after sun gel cream and in the ingredients it had something I adore. Aloe vera.

Κάνει για πρόσωπο και σώμα  με φίλτρα προστασίας UVA+UVB και 40% ενυδατική αλόη βέρα. Προσφέρει 30 SPF και είναι αδιάβροχη και δεν είναι κολλώδης. Σχεδόν άμεσα απορροφάται και δεν έχει την γυαλάδα που σου αφήνουν κάποια αντηλιακά. 100 ml προϊόν 

It's suitable for  face and body, with  UVA+UVB protection and 40% moisturising aloe vera. It offers 30 SPF, it's waterproof and non-sticky. It almost instantly absorves and doesn't give you the greasy look that some sunlotions tend to do. 100ml product

Aυτό το αγάπησα αμέσως. Να φταίει το ότι έχει shea butter, η τέλεια μυρωδιά, ή ότι μόλις το απλώσεις έχει αυτό το cooling effect? Έχει 70% αλόη βέρα και είναι 200 ml. Σε μας φάνηκε χρήσιμο  και για μώλωπες, μιας και στην παραλία μόνο αυτό είχαμε και έκανε διαφορά!!

I fell in love with this right away! Is it because of the shea butter, the amazing smell or the fact that the moment you apply it you feel that cooling effect? It contains 70% aloe vera and it's 200ml. We also found it usefull for bruises since we were at the beach, and that't the only thing we had, and it made a big difference. Minutes after you almost couldn't see the bruise!

MAC Cosmetics Archie's Girls Collection With Betty and Veronica

Nαι καλά διαβάσατε. Η MAC θα συνεργαστεί με την Archies Comics και θα βγάλουν σε limited edition γραμμή makeup που θα λέγεται  "MAC Archie's Girls." !!

Δεν ακούγεται τέλειο? Προσωπικά μιας και μεγάλωσα διαβάζοντας το συγκεκριμένο κόμικ είμαι αρκετά ενθουσιασμένη και ανυπομονώ να δω πως θα είναι!!

Η νέα γραμμή θα βγει την επόμενη άνοιξη και θα είναι βασισμένη στα 2 κορίτσια, το κορίτσι της διπλανής πόρτας Betty και την sexy Βερόνικα.

Σαφώς η Betty θα έχει πιο natural girly look σε ροζ και ροδακινί τόνους να υποθέσω, ενώ η Veronica πιο edgy με πιο σκούρες αποχρώσεις και έντονα κόκκινα χείλη.

Εσείς ως παιδιά, ποια  από τις 2  κοπέλες προτιμούσατε?

Πραγματικά ανυπομονώ να δω τα προϊόντα που θα βγάλει αυτή η γραμμή!

Μέχρι τότε πάω να ξεχαστώ στα comics μου.

Να περνάτε καλά, και τώρα που είναι καλοκαίρι  μην ξεχνάτε.. αντηλιακό και μπόλικο νερό! :)

 

 

June's favourites and NOTD

Hello ladies and gents.

June.. God June was terrible! I had issues with my health, moodswings, and everyone around me had the same negative vibes. Thank God it's all gone.
 So not been in the perfect mood, and ''enjoying''  our humidity here, I didn't use a lot of products.
Ok, sunscreen deodorant and a hat was a must so I will not show at the pictures below.

Seventeen supreme No43 an amazing coral pink nailpolish. Love this!

Elf Gum Pink nailpolish which made me appreciate pink nailpolishes as I always had a love- hate relationship with pink.

Coconut milk By Sephora.. It may not be the  most hydrating body lotion but the smell, simply yells Summer is here!! Can't live without it!

Double Act by W7.
I have to say that I've been using as well ELF's blush Innocense, but this one I've been using it almost every day. Stunning colours!

Paul Mitchell Super skinny serum that smoothes the hair, controls frizz and adds shine. It smells like strawberry and I love it!  Too bad it's so good that sometimes my brother borrows it!

NYX Mars which love it when I want a natural look!

ELF Seductive. No words for that. Simply adore it.

Revlon beyond natural cream to powder eeyshadows.
I have to say they don't do what they promise, meaning you don't see the powder effect but I mostly use it with my Naked palette.

 So these were my June favourites, and I would like to see with July being the hottest month of the year, if I wear any makeup at all! :P



Let's move on.. NOTD

ELF Glam Pink is coral pink with gold undertones.

I know I know I should put a photo with my nails only and then present myself.

Thing is I tried but with this camera, couldn't get the colour right.

Amazing colour and with some tanning looks even better, but it needs 3 coats nail polish to look proper, and didn't dry as fast as the other ELF nailpolishes that I have. Nevertheless I liked the colour.

So, that was all folks!

NOTD :Gum pink

 Καλοκαιράκι, παραλία, λίγο μαύρισμα και είπα να δοκιμάσω το Gum pink από την ELF. Μπορεί να με απογοήτευσε σε κάποια πράγματα, αλλά όχι στα βερνίκια!!


Summer, beach, some tanning and thought why not trying Gum pink by ELF.  ELF may have failed  pleasing me at some stuff but you gotta love their nail polishes!!

Επιτέλους έλαβα το δαχτυλίδι που παράγγειλα από ebay και είναι πανέμορφο. Το δοκίμασα και στον παράμεσο αν και μου αρέσει να τα φοράω στον δείκτη συνήθως. Με τι χρώμα βερνίκια να το συνδυάσω λέτε?

Finally, my the ring that I ordered from ebay arrived and it looks absolutely beautiful! I tried it on my ring finger, but I have to say I prefer wearing my rings on my index finger. With what nail polishes colours should I compine it?
